Ready for College?
We get it. Starting college is stressful and full of unknowns.

We have been helping incoming students make the transition to four-year colleges for almost twenty years. We understand your worries, and we know how to help.

College You delivers short, fun chapters that are practical and interactive. Cartoon characters give voice to common concerns, and discussions at the end of each chapter make the book engaging in ways that lectures are not. One college-bound high school senior said that reading College You"felt reassuring, like getting advice from a wise older sibling.
In addition to addressing the common problems students face ⎼ including loneliness, culture shock, homesickness, college-readiness, personal effectiveness, and the extraordinary range of assistance available on campus ⎼ College You helps students master a core of college-level academic skills ⎼ How to Read, How to Write, How to Think, How to Learn, and How to Disagree.
Finally, College You explains the most important mysteries of college success ⎼ how to interact with faculty, how to study abroad, how to participate in discussion groups, how to choose a major, how to think about grades, how to balance in-class and extracurricular learning, how to make college friends, how to use AI, how to handle the urge to cheat, and how to use your college degree in the world.
Don't Just Survive -- Thrive!
Plenty of "survival guides" might help you survive the dorms and navigate the college's various policies. College You is different. The book goes far beyond mere survival, showing you how to thrive at college, to squeeze every last drop from the experience, so you get an education that sets you up for a lifetime of success.
Your authors have 50+ years experience in higher education, including at world-class research institutions, small elite liberal arts colleges, and mid-tier and top-tier public universities, as well as community colleges. College You offers advice you can trust, supported by research.
